This book has already proven its value with my first client with specific information on how to prepare their massage according to their meds.

This is a must have for Massage Therapists

As healers we do not like to see anyone taking very many meds but the unfortunate reality is that many people are on several medications. This book is a must have for any therapist and the perfect quick reference; it even has what specific techniques should be avoided when people are taking particular meds.

A Must-Have for all Massage Therapists

This book is well worth the weight (it is a little heavy!). It is concise, and full of information; namely, drugs listed by name, as well as generic (in the index), and for each drug: explanation of the drug's effect on the body, as well as the drug's peak effect and duration in the body, possible side effects, diseases and conditions the drug treats, and massage considerations.
This book is user-friendly and has a considerable amount of information at your finger tips. This is especially useful in a medical or hospital setting, as well as a spa setting.
I would recommend this book to all massage therapists, as there are several contraindications for massage in certain conditions and with certain drugs.
