Beth Morgan has never met a man she couldn't love. All her life the Wisconsin beauty has been happily surrounded by beaus. Quaid agrees to take the spoiled vixen to her brother in Wyoming. He figures it will take one maybe two days on the trail before Beth Morgan caves to the hardship of pioneering and demands to be taken back home. The trip becomes a battle of wills and Quaid learns there is more grit to this stubborn woman than he first thought. Admiration turns to love, but once back in civilization, will this fickle woman go back to gathering beaus?
Beth comes to understand the difference between infatuation and true love. But Quaid has seen her at her worst. How could any man forget the spoiled girl she once was?

About the Author
Nancy J. Parra holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism but turned to writing fiction when she discovered it was more fun to interview the people in her head. She lives in the Midwest with her wonderful husband, her two almost-perfect children, and a mutt named George Bernard, who grew to unexpected proportions.
The Lovin' Kind is the next novel in the Morgan Family series.

I enjoyed reading this book that once I finished I wanted to read it again.
This is a fast-paced read with the perfect blend of romance and adventure.

Excellent Book

Beth was beautiful. It was a plain and simple fact. But not many people understood that a gutsy woman was beneath the beauty. It takes Quaid several weeks to find that out.
A wonderful book that keeps you on edge. It's no surprise it was one of Booklist's top ten romances for 2006. It was a delight to read.

I really enjoyed the story. The pampered woman who learns all about herself on the trail. And the bachelor who realizes he does not want to be so independent! Clean with chemistry!
