Beverly was first settled by five men known as the "Old Planters" and was incorporated as a town in 1668. Its first minister, Rev. President Taft vacationed at present-day Lynch Park, and many visitors have come to Beverly for the North Shore Music Theatre and Le Grand David.

A Historical View of Beverly

I have been a resident of Beverly for only eleven years, and I enjoyed this picture-rich book with my family, oooing and ahing at sites that we know and love. It will be a treasured book to keep for the future as well.
